Garlic Bread
Ingredients
1 16-ounce (450 g) loaf of Italian bread or French bread, or sourdough
1/2 cup (1 stick, 112 g) unsalted butter or ghee, softened
2 large cloves garlic, smashed and minced
1 heaping tbsp of freshly chopped parsley
1/4 cup (25 g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
optional additions:
dried basil
dried oregano
salt
black pepper
Directions
Mix butter and garlic, spread onto bread. Bake at 350 for approx 10 minutes. Sprinkle with parmesan. Return to oven on broil for a couple minutes.
