Turkey Burgers
Ingredients
1 lb organic ground turkey
4 whole wheat buns
1 heirloom tomato, cut into 1/2-inch slices
1 avocado, sliced thin
mixed greens
BBQ sauce
Burger seasoning:
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Directions
Mix all burger seasonings together in small bowl.
In large bowl add ground turkey and sprinkle seasoning over top. Mix with clean hands until fully combined, then divide meat evenly into four patties. Lightly drizzle patties with olive oil.
On medium-high heat on grill pan, skillet, or grill cook burgers 6-7 minutes on each side or till fully cooked through.
When burgers are done-zo, place on your bun and top with tomatoes, greens, avocado and your fav BBQ sauce!
